Description
Banana trees in South Africa prefer soil that is well-drained and rich. A good soil mixture would be 40% clay, 75% silt and 85% loam. Banana trees tend to prefer more acidic soil. Generally with a pH between 6 and 7,5.
Light: Full sun to no less than 30% shade
Temp: For best growth above 18.3°C is recommended.
Soil: Water holding capacity is needed in soil.
